Help me get on Oprah-
I have sent a copy of my autobiography to Oprah via Ellen Rakieten, her producer. I would love for her to read my book because she is mentioned in it.
Here is the part where she is mentioned-
"I was watching the Oprah Show one day when someone mentioned cross-dressing. I wrote Oprah a letter, telling her about my life with a cross-dresser. About a year later, I received a phone call from one of the show's producers. Oprah wanted Gregory and me to be on her show about "secrets." When I told the woman there was no way Gregory would ever agree to be on national television, she called a second time, saying that Oprah had agreed to do us in "shadow."
I told Gregory about it and he wondered how on earth Oprah had found out about him. I told him I had written her a letter and he wasn't even upset with me. He thought about being on the show, and I was surprised when he agreed to do it, but our chance was gone when the woman called again to say there was no available flight, or an airport close enough to get us there in time for the taping. It was an honor to be considered for the Oprah Show and I told several people about it, but couldn't tell them what the show was about."
If you know Oprah personally and happen to stumble across this, please, tell her about me. I would love to have a second chance at being on her show. If anything, I would just be honored for her to have a copy of my book. Because of my work schedule, I can't watch Oprah anymore but she is still my favorite person! If you watch Oprah faithfully the way I did when I could, you know that you can email her. I hope you'll tell her about this website and my desire to get my book into her hands and possibly be on her show. If you get a chance to be in her audience or on the Oprah Show, I would love that one minute of your time for you to tell Oprah about me. You can make my dream a reality!
